Addiction Program Concurrent Disorders Curriculum(ACDC)

This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program is intended for Alberta Health Services Professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health professionals who serve patients/clients experiencing concurrent disorders.

The primary goal of the Addiction Program Concurrent Disorders Curriculum is to enhance understanding of concurrent disorders as a manageable condition. This accredited concurrent disorders curriculum will provide educational opportunities for professionals at varying skill levels and interest.

Concurrent Disorders E-Learning Series: Accessible, Flexible and Convenient

Each fully accredited Series is 13 weeks in length and is offered on-line to enhance accessibility and convenience for participants.

Each ACDC Series features:

• PowerPoint presentations with audio narration in each Module
• Facilitated on-line discussions with other professionals
• Learning assessments offering personal feedback to participants
• Individualized learning support
• Learn about local resources and link to academic and web-based resources

Registration Info

• Registration occurs online, and is held on a semi-annual basis for our Fall and Winter semesters.
• Fall registration opens on the last week of July.
• Winter registration opens on the last week of November.
