- Program evaluation and development at the Addiction Centre and for the Addiction Network. Including qualitative and quantitative evaluation of individual and group treatments and consultative and education services.
- Research project on evaluating binge drinking on Canadian university campuses and strategies to reduce harm associated with binge drinking.
- Research on pharmacotherapy for smoking cessation, community based tobacco reduction strategies for people with mental illness, and motivation factors to quit smoking in psychiatric patients.
- Gambling research including pathological gambling and Parkinson´s disease, fMRI imaging and brain activity of pathological gambling, and Parkinson´s disease.
- Effects of addictions and chronic illness on family functioning.
- Effects of personality factors and mental illness on occupational status, disability, and craving.
